Marvel Puzzle Quest is a puzzle role-playing game that challenges players to team up with some of the most iconic superheroes in Marvel Comics history, including Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man and Wolverine, and use them to engage in intense Puzzle Quest-style battles.

The gameplay in Marvel Puzzle Quest is almost identical to that of the original Puzzle Quest game. That is, you need to connect three or more identically colored elements on the playing field. When you do this, you deal damage to your enemies and earn energy points for which you can perform special moves. Which special moves you can perform depends, of course, on which hero you're playing.

According to the plot of the game, you will travel the world, fighting against all your enemies, which are controlled by a computer. What's more, as you win more matches, you'll unlock new characters to add to your ranks.
